HERE I AM

What a day!!! Well, I've been thinking about creating a blog page and after reading so many of my friends and families pages, I asked myself, if I'd be that interesting, or if I would have the time to keep it up. Of course both of my answerer's were no, but if any of you know me, NO isn't in my vocabulary. So here I am-

Today was a cold wet day here at CCMS. My students were eager to come to class to find out they couldn't tell me anything about their TAKS test they just took. We took a chill-out day and just read all period. I love reading, and I love to read to the kids. Especially when they say...don't stop reading...keep going. What joy it brings me.

I've currently embarked on the task of going back to school for my Masters in Administration. It has so far been fun, but I'm starting to see all the work I'm going to have to do and what little time I have to do it in. I am learning quite a lot about School Law and what it entails. It is pretty interesting.

I had a wonderful weekend this past week. My sister and brother-in-law, Maddie, and my mom all came to visit. It was Hillary's 10 year reunion from winning State in B-ball!!! Yeah girls!! Kevin and I got to keep Maddie on Saturday night and she was just a joy. Although she woke up at 3:30 and wanted to play, she brought lots of smiles and laughs to Kevin and I. She was a little confused as to who we were and where she was, but once she put it together she gave us both the biggest smile and then waved at us. HOW CUTE IS THAT?

Dillan and Dad stopped by for a little while. Dillan brought his guitar hero and played Kevin in a battle. I guess they had fun. I know I enjoyed their company. We live so far from my family, and it always makes me really happy when they come to visit. I miss them everyday, and wish I could see them more. They are all such wonderful people and joys in my life.

That's one of the main reasons I started this blog. I hope to keep in contact with my sister...that is when she gets a page, as well as my wonderful sister-in-law Gina. I cry every time I read her page. I love looking at pictures of Denver and Averi. They make me smile and I'm so proud she has their funny pictures on her page. I teach them well..haha!! Well..I will try to update weekly, but no promises!
